2019年7月11日下午，应化学化工学院、保水化学功能材料甘肃省国际科技合作基地，泰国朱拉蓬研究所（Chulabhorn Research Institute）Nopporn Thasana 博士来我校作报告来我校作报告，题为《Synthesis of Funtionalized Indenes from Ene-Yne-Oxazolones》，化学化工学院教师、研究生80余人在新校区特教楼159多媒体学术报告厅参加了报告会。报告会由霍聪德教授主持。
报告中，Nopporn Thasana 博士展示了其课题组近年来在串联环化方面的研究进展以及所取得的成果。其课题组基于天然有机化合物骨架的构建，发展了一系列无机碱和金属催化的串联环化反应，并将其应用于药物的合成和开发中。报告结束后，Nopporn Thasana 博士与在场的师生们进行了学术讨论和交流，并且对在场的老师及学生提出的问题做出了详细的解答。
Nopporn Thasana 博士简介：
Nopporn Thasana received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Ramkhamhaeng University (Thailand) in 1993, his Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from Mahidol University (Thailand) in 1996, and his Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry from Mahidol University (Thailand) in 2003. From 1997 to now, he as Research Scientist (1997-2010), Research Scientist I (2010-2015) and Research Scientist II (2015-present) works at Laboratory of Medicinal Chemistry, Chulabhorn Research Institute (Thailand). Since 2007, Dr. Thasana has also joined Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (Thailand) as Lecturer in Chemical Biology Program.
His research interests are mainly focused on Green Chemistry, Organometalic Chemistry, and Natural Products Chemistry. Dr. Thasana is a Visiting Scholar at Nagoya University, Japan under support of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS)-National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) Core University Program in 2003 (Host: Professor Minoru Isobe) and JSPS-Asian Core Program on Cutting-Edge Organic Chemistry in Asia in 2009 (Host: Professor Toshio Nishikawa), respectively. He is also the awardee of the Asian Core Program Lectureship Awards (2011 from Korea and Taiwan, 2015 from Singapore, 2017 from China, and 2018 from Japan and Korea).
